Jazz guitarist Steve Gray studied with KC jazz legend John Elliott. played with famous starsi.e. Percy Sledge, Sam and Dave, Harry Connick Jr., Delbert Mclinton. Marcia Ball (in New Orleans, a brief sting with Olivia Newton John. playing rock, rhythm and blues, and jazz since the early 70's studied extensively with KC legendary  jazz guitarist Pat Metheny. member of The Kansas Music Hall of Fame as a member of The Classmen and The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Percy Sledge Band.
